Jupiter in Gemini -26/05/24 – 10/06/2025
In ancient times, people lived their lives according to planetary cycles of time. The Moon cycle was often recorded on cave walls, especially when memorable events took place. Each planet in our solar system has it’s own cycle. Jupiter’s cycle is approximately twelve years. It takes about one year to travel through each of the twelve signs of the zodiac. Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system, and, esoterically, is thought of as the home of the spiritual masters.
This century Jupiter began it’s transit through Gemini on 01/07/2000 ending on 14/07/2021. What was going on then compared to now? When people had gotten over the fact that computers didn’t collapse or get the dates wrong because of the millennium turn-over, a relaxation took place. And then in mid-year, when Jupiter moved into Gemini, there was an increase in travel, learning and the teaching of alternate ways of life and thought. Many more people travelled overseas. There was also a silent signal to the indigenous people around the globe that it was time to share their ancient wisdom because it would be needed in the times to come.
I was in Peru when this first sharing took place – June 2000 solstice. My former husband and I had joined a small tour group who were to visit the sacred sites around Cusco, a city high in the Andean mountains situated at approximately 2,500 metres above sea level. When we arrived at the first sacred site we were greeted by a strange event that created confusion in the tour guide’s mind. He had never before seen the people he was now looking at. He had heard of them. Called the Quero, they were the wise ones who had headed to the high mountains when the Spanish invaded Peru approximately five hundred years ago. The Quero wanted to ensure their sacred spiritual knowledge remained pure. They lived approximately 5000 meters above sea level and had descended to share their knowledge. And here was a small group of them, in their ceremonial attire, seemingly waiting for us.
They wanted to perform a ceremony and asked the tour guide’s permission. He consented. They wanted a volunteer to represent the group and I was chosen. I didn’t understand what they were doing but did know they were working energetically around my crown and third eye chakra. I felt extremely privileged to be a part of their ceremony. With sincere gratitude, they presented me with a hand woven bracelet.
This began a series of regular annual journeys to the Andes to dance the sacred circle dance Paneurythmy. I led a different group each year. We danced at the sacred sites that had been built over earth’s vortexes and inter-dimensional portals thousands of years previously. Through the past life experiences and memories of the individuals in each group, profound knowledge was remembered. Many soul tears were cried as the memories arose. Some were of homecoming – some were of the sorrow of having to leave once again a former home. This was the case for me. The tears didn’t make sense for the first three years. And then gradually I understood. I was able to connect the dots in my mind to make sense of this new reality. Peru had been a former home, one that my soul loved and revered more so than others.
Jupiter in Gemini is all about cosmic and human movement, communication, knowledge, and the spiritual growth that comes from the broadening of self-understanding. Reflect upon how much we, as individuals and as a collective, have learned since that Jupiter cycle. Our spiritual growth has accelerated and is continuing to do so.
The next cycle of Jupiter in Gemini began on 12 June 2012 ending 27 June 2013.
What was going on then? What had we learned about ourselves and our world in those twelve years? Had there been an advance in consciousness or a decline?
Right on Jupiter’s schedule, many books were written about the end of the Mayan calendar and the galactic alignment to take place in 2012. This galactic alignment is a rare astronomical event that brings the solstice sun into alignment with the centre of the Milky Way galaxy approximately every 12,600 years. According to the ancient peoples, and of the Maya and Vedic philosophy, this was the indicator of the beginning of an ascension stage of human consciousness development. It reconnected us with our soul’s memories and a re-cognition of our ancient star origins. In other words – it was consciousness raising.
During that Jupiter in Gemini cycle I was shown the beginning of an alignment of three suns. This alignment took about five years to complete. 2016 was the last time I was shown it.
You may like to reflect upon these two past Jupiter in Gemini cycles to determine how far you have grown spiritually and in consciousness. And apply your understanding to now.
Many of us are taking a great deal of interest in the ancient knowledge being shared by indigenous people around the globe. Their way of explaining is through the right brain function – eg , through the experiencing, imagery, intuition and feeling way. This is the feminine way of perceiving life. It’s challenging for those people totally focused on their left brain, the logic and analytical way of interpreting life – the masculine way.
And now, 12 years later, the same themes have arisen. It seems as if everyone I know is experiencing accelerated learning, and are trying to make sense of it.
We are being bombarded by youTube video clips, all sorts of “news” and written information. Some true – some not. We are learning discernment through necessity. Truth is a felt experience. It may not be logical. The right brain connects to the heart. The heart itself is an intuitive brain. To ascertain your truth requires the right-brain function, the feminine feeling way. When truth is ascertained and action needs to be taken, then the masculine left brain function needs to be used.
By consciously and willingly harmonising our internal feminine and masculine brain functions we will thrive in our new world, especially when our love of and for Mother Earth and Father Sky guides our way. It would be wise indeed to work on developing harmonisation of your brain functions. Meditation helps. Toning from the heart helps.
