Super Full Moon in Taurus – 24 degrees. 16/11/24
For those who chose to break-through societal and family programmes that no longer serve their evolutionary soul growth during Saturn’s retrograde period, rejoice. I liken Saturn to St. Peter at the Pearly Gates. Yes, since 29th June this year, when Saturn turned retrograde, many of you have faced internal psychological challenges, have seen the light of your soul’s truth, and are now demonstrating it in the world of form. Congratulations! Give yourself a big hug. You might like to reflect upon the past four months to see how much you have learned and grown through it.
It’s now time to move on to the next level of Light infusion. Saturn’s ‘gates of karma’ are opening for further self-discovery and advancement in consciousness . A next level of your soul’s truth is preparing to reveal. One door of the past has closed. Another, a lighter one, is opening. Are you willing to walk through the ‘pearly gates’ into greater light? If so, in a meditation, imagine yourself doing so, as clearly and as confidently as possible. Allow whatever images are given to you.
Today, Saturn stations. He has on his consciousness train the passengers who, of their own free will, chose to move beyond self-sabotaging creations and are willing and ready to embrace the new life facing them at the next destination. A new phase of life in Pisces is in the making.
Why not use your imagination to create heavenly scenarios that bring joy to your souls? Why not consciously each day give to others the love and light of truth ascertained – the higher vibration attained?
Planet Earth will rejoice. Your Higher Selves will rejoice and Saturn’s karmic load will be lighter.
At today’s Full Moon in Taurus (24 deg.) let the darkness and sting of the opposing scorpion (Sun in Scorpio) alchemise into the phoenix bird (the highest vibration of Scorpio) that rises from the ashes of its former self to illuminate and enlighten others. Goddess Venus, the planet of love and beauty, governs Taurus therefore has energetic influence at this Full Moon.
In the chart, the planetary llluminator, Uranus, conjuncts the Full Moon in Taurus. These two cosmic players join together to assist our awakening into the light of higher consciousness.
A super Moon means it is closer to the Earth therefore much brighter than normal. Uranus is the illuminator of cosmic light , and chaos – so be prepared for surprises and intend to willingly release the shadows that no longer serve your soul’s growth into greater light and wisdom. During this Moon phase, you may choose to do a ritual, ceremony or meditation that has meaning to you. The following is one I taught my students after I had successfully practiced it for years.
You will need to set aside a quiet time for yourself, by yourself. In a semi-meditative state, imagine, or look at your birth chart to become familiar with it and then choose to view birth chart as an astrological medicine wheel.
In your mind create a beautiful calm and quiet space in nature and place yourself sitting there relaxing and admiring the native animals, bird song and the beauty of nature. Then imagine a large model of your birth chart revealing itself in front of you. Imagine yourself walking into the centre of it making yourself comfortable and relaxed there. Look around your birth chart and then invoke a planet to come to you. Open your mind to receive whatever comes. Begin to communicate with the archetypal energies of the planet. Ask it whatever comes to your mind. You might want to ask questions . Keep relaxed and alert. When you feel you’re done, thank the planetary archetypal energy and direct it to return to its place in your birth chart.

As mentioned many times before, a Full Moon brings increased ocean tides, and also increased emotions (our internal waters). Our global oceans and all that reside in them are influenced by a Full Moon. e.g. Fishermen know they can find fish in certain places during Full Moons and take advantage of this information. Police and hospital staff know to be on greater alert during full moons because of human emotional reactions. The tectonic plates under our oceans can also experience movement.
With the Sun in Scorpio, this intense Full Moon can throw light on deep secrets hidden in your subconscious for generations, or lifetimes. You can relate to this personally, or may see it arise in the collective. For example, you might hear announcements about a change (Uranus) in monetary exchange or currencies, (Taurus rules money and values) or have money issues arise yourself.
You could find your values being challenged, possibly by a family member (Moon). Self-trust is a Taurus theme, so this may also arise during the next two days of this Full Moon phase.
I’ll be focusing on Uranus and the light of higher consciousness and grounding it through earth sign Taurus. I suggest you intend each day to shine your light brightly, give and send light and love to all those you encounter, and allow your joy and love take you home on the ‘wings of the phoenix bird’.
