Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse 15 degrees Scorpio- 6 May 2023 -3.35AM
(AEST)

This is the Wesak Full Moon.  What does Wesak mean?

It’s a global celebration of the Buddha’s birthday and enlightenment.

Many Wesak ceremonies and events are conducted globally to celebrate this holy time. It is said that a potent ceremony takes place in a valley in the Himalayas each year at this time. Thousands of people gather in white attire to pray and hold reverence for the life and teachings of the Buddha. Picture a beautiful green valley, surrounded by mountain peaks. The energy in this place feels reverent and sacred. Visualise a natural outcrop of large boulders in front of the huge crowd. One of the boulders is curved into a large half moon shaped receptacle. It is filled with water. Another is like a large relatively flat platform. Nearing the time of the Full Moon, the crowd begin toning sacred sounds. The sounds amplify, echoing off the rocks and nearby mountains. The toning increases. Energy love waves are shared. At the exact time of the Full Moon an apparition occurs in full view of the crowd. The crowd continues toning, as if calling in higher dimensional Light beings. Three huge light beings begin to take luminous shape as they descend towards the platform. In the centre is the Buddha. To his right is the Christed Jesus, and to his left is Santa Kamara, the name of the Ascended Master and custodian/regent of planet Earth.

These three great Light beings bless the crowd and the water in the bowl while the crowd gently quietens their toning, gazing in awe at the celestial vision, accepting reverently the blessings offered.

The image fades as the three light beings ascend once again to higher realms of light. The crowds disperse.

You may wish to do this meditation just before the Full Moon and tune in with the Wesak gathering.

And now to an astrological delineation of the Full Moon -Lunar Eclipse chart.

Emotions will run deep. (Moon in Scorpio).

Mercury conjuncts the Sun and Uranus in Taurus. Taurus energy is strong. Taurus can be resistant to change. Uranus suggests the importance and relevance of change. Mercury’s message is: “pay attention to your thoughts – develop mental management by becoming aware if they are dark or light. Choose to change them so you can experience greater light”. (Uranus governs Aquarius – and the Age of Aquarius).

The main challenge is between transiting Pluto in 0 degrees Aquarius and the North Node in Taurus 4 degrees and South Node of the Moon 4 degrees Scorpio. This challenging T-square has been forming for some time and is now gathering strength and power. These three bundles of cosmic energy, with only four degrees of separation between them, will challenge us to dive deeper into our subconscious minds to ascertain our soul’s purpose for incarnation. To attain this knowledge we will need to release resistance to the inner journey.

The north node in the chart indicates our soul’s potential and destiny. The journey from the south to the north node can take an entire lifetime, or, as many more people awaken, a few adult years. It is the soul’s journey from darkness to the light, often referred to as the quest for the holy grail. Even when the North Node moves into 29 degrees Aries on 18th July this year and Pluto returns to briefly sojourn in Capricorn (29 degrees) the internal pressure will continue – more strongly for anyone who has planets close to  0 degrees of either cardinal or fixed signs (i.e. Cardinal: Aries, Libra, Cancer/Capricorn – Fixed: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius). I suggest you check your birth charts. Will you choose to evolve and grow into greater light?

Will we, as a collective, get it this time?

May you open your minds and hearts to receive and integrate these messages, and allow the love guiding them to fuel your daily life,

Blessings and Love,
Ashtara
