Jupiter in Gemini 2025
Merrily, and with purpose is transiting planet Jupiter moving through Gemini while also influencing the planets or points we have in our birth charts in the other mutable signs – Sagittarius, Virgo and Pisces.
I wrote about this transit last year, when Jupiter was moving in retrograde motion through Gemini. From February 4th 2025 it began to move forward in direct motion, slowly at first but now beginning to travel faster through this sign. Mary, a Magdalen, who learned about astrology and the stars while studying in the mystery school of Egypt, reminded me this morning of a symbolic way in which to share Jupiter’s energy as it continues moving through Gemini. She says:
As the memories reveal, so too does your life open up. It is an energetic process. You have become aware of this but not the extent of how this is so. This is occurring now. You, a passenger in your life’s train are now heading to a different station, one that is to reveal as each step unfolds. Different passengers or players in your life’s game will board the train and others will depart. You could say this is a result of Jupiter moving through Gemini. Why not make it the topic for your Astrology column?
I opened my astrology work book to read what I’d written about Jupiter in Gemini in 2006. I share it with you below. In this book I provide the functional and dysfunctional way of using the planetary energies. I’ve written in this way for every planet in every sign. It’s an incredibly helpful life-supporting tool. You can read for yourself below whether this is so. I’ve also written it in the first person so, as your’e reading it you are saying the words to yourself. This was purposeful because, as you read, and I suggest you speak it out loud, your body is likely to respond to some of the words. It would be wise to pay attention to the specific areas of your body where you receive a bodily response because that response indicates an energy blockage. Once you experience the theme with awareness, you can do something about it otherwise it will persist and create greater problems later on.
Jupiter in Gemini: Functional Expression:
“ I quest for meaning through broadening my understanding of self through books, classes, study and higher learning. I travel widely in my mind so I can learn to understand the big picture of my life. I learn philosophy and spiritual Law, and daily practice and apply to my life all I learn. I understand my purpose in life is to broaden my understanding of myself and the world in which I live and develop a strong connection to the divine spark of God within me. I learn to focus and be attentive to my thoughts and listen carefully to the essence of the words other’s speak. When I have studied and read broadly, integrating the teachings through personal experience, I feel inspired to share my knowledge and wisdom. This gives my life meaning and purpose.
I am learning to express my truth with integrity and honesty. Writing can bring me fulfilment. I have worked at harmonising the right and left hemispheres of my brain so I can clearly see the big picture of my life. I now understand the meaning and purpose of symbols and know this is a universal language. One picture can tell a thousand words – in any language. My visionary abilities are manifesting and I am able to see the great ‘cosmic joke’ of my life and now play my life game through humour and joy. I allow my intuition – my inner knowing -to guide and lead me in the spiritual direction my soul needs to travel. I am curious about this path yet unattached to wherever it takes me. I allow the feminine intuitive part of my right brain to guide and then activate my analytical and reasoning skills to follow through on it. This is a fun game and one that gives my life meaning and purpose.
Dysfunctional Expression:
In total denial of my truth I do not believe in myself and rely on other’s knowledge; thinking they know more than me. I read books, mostly of a superficial nature, and am able to read quickly skimming over the pages. I can read, watch TV, write and do other things all at the same time. Aren’t I clever?
I have a great deal of nervous energy and can easily burn out and develop nervous breakdowns when I go ‘over the top’ with negative thoughts! This slows me down for a while! Do I learn?
I have problems with focus and my concentration span is short.
Unable to listen carefully and attentively to what others have to say because my mind is so full of my own babble, I push them away!
I can have communication problems not realising how important words are and how the words I think and speak carry such potency and force. I engage in so many negative thoughts and create so many negative experiences through them and kind Jupiter gives me what I want! My legs seem to have a life of their own, particularly when I’m impatient. Unaware, I tap my feet, and my fingers and sometimes my upper legs shake as my nervous energy attempts to settle. Slow down!? What does that mean?
A fleeting thought – Maybe I need to learn that energy follows thought? Huh – where did that come from?
Often I have communication problems with my siblings – we’re not even on the same page! Of course I blame them.
I cannot understand how to view life from a symbolic perspective as I was taught that everything is literal such as the teachings in the bible.
I experienced a frightening experience when I was about three years of age after travelling on a short journey to visit other family members. The decision I made from the outcome of that experience unconsciously rules my mind and I allow the fear of a repeat experience to limit my life.”
Your Recipe for Empowerment through
Spiritual Astrology – Volume Two – The Planets.
Currently, Jupiter is 11 degrees Gemini and has been hovering over this degree for five weeks as it stationed and turned direct on 4th February 2025. Slowly, it is gathering speed. How many more passengers has it taken on board its expanding consciousness train – all keen to know themselves on a deeper level so they can know their soul’s purpose and live a more meaningful and purposeful life? Jupiter entered Gemini on 26th May 2024. Hmm! I lot has gone on in my life since then! Maybe it has been the same for you?
There are thirty degrees in every zodiacal sign. Jupiter moves into Cancer on 11th June this year. It will have brought up, or still be bringing up for you, some of the themes mentioned above. Jupiter provides the energy for advancement on your soul’s journey to the Light of self-knowledge, and the resultant spiritualised Light of higher consciousness.
You can consciously work with the energy as per the clear descriptions above – or decide the information is without value or the inner work far too hard!
From Earth’s perspective we experience Jupiter’s cycle to be of approximately 12 years. You can reflect upon Jupiter’s last cycle in Gemini beginning 12th June 2012 – ending 27th June 2013.
Hmm! What was going on then on the global scene? Can you remember? The end of 2012 – when the Mayan calendar was to end and it seemed there was no way of predicting the future. The Mayans had closed up shop!
They would have known the planetary cycles would still continue whether a calendar ends or not.
My question to you is: “What was going on in your lives then?” Use some of the key themes above to get a broader understanding. You will have expanded your mind in someway – maybe through overseas travel? Or, meeting someone from a different culture who became important in your life? Maybe taking many short journeys through that year, or undertaking a course of study that opened your mind to a new way of viewing life?
Expansion is an important theme with Jupiter and the sign it rules, Sagittarius. Jupiter also governs the 9th house in an astrology chart. Should you have planets in the 9th house of your birth chart you will understand how Jupiter plays his expansive games in your life and where some of the themes mentioned above play out. Look to where you have Jupiter situated in your chart because this area of life and the opposite house is where your greatest spiritual growth and expansion is to take place in your life. In a meditation, ask Jupiter what is his message for you? You may be surprised by his reply!
