2023 Numerological, Tarot and Astrological Influences
These three ancient modalities are tools to awaken our unconscious to consciousness so we can acquire self-knowledge, a thorough understanding of ourselves. They act like a spiritual mirror in which we can recognise and examine our inner nature. We learn to realise that, in order to change the world we experience, we first need to change ourselves. To do so we need to know ourselves so we know the habits and old psychological programmes that need to change. To experience a harmonious future depends upon the attainment of higher levels of self-awareness that can only come through self-knowledge.
Numerology: 2+2+3 = 7
According to our western calendar we have entered a seven year.
According to Pythagorean numerology, the key words and themes associated with number seven are: reflection, rest, vacations and health. According to the Christian bible, God rested on the seventh day.
2023 is a good year to focus on developing spiritual growth. First, become quiet and receptive. Reflect upon your station in life. Analyse your goals, projects and relationships and spend time alone to listen to your inner prompts. Write your thoughts and feelings in a journal because your dreams can be inspirational. They are messages from your dream teacher, your higher self, however they need clear interpretation. 95% are symbolic, usually depicting your emotional state and level of consciousness at the dreaming time. Occasionally, they can be prophetic and sometimes can be past life memories seeping through the mental 3D veil of forgetfulness. It is a good year for daily journal work and to learn dream interpretation. Mental discipline will be required.
It’s also a good year to master technical skills to aid your profession or career. You may also study a subject that interests and it may have a metaphysical or spiritual content.
Pace yourself wisely because this number rules the physical body and its functions. Take note if you feel the need to rest and where possible, do so. Take care of any minor health problems because frustration, psychological abuse, and overexertion can bring about health issues. Slow down.
You may find you prefer associating with spiritual people this year, rather than business associates or friends not on the same wave band as you. Its best to honour and act upon these feelings.
Tarot Symbolism
Number seven connects to the card and message of The Chariot.
The Chariot symbolises our body-vehicle for travelling through life and represents our receptivity to the will of Source; a spiritual outlook on life and a deep belief in God. Symbolically, the Charioteer is the Soul. It is the soul that directs our body, the chariot. The soul’s agenda is for the personality to grow and evolve into greater light and the understanding, appreciation and experience of divine love.
In the card of the traditional Tarot, the Charioteer is not using reigns because it is mentally, through the will, that he directs the movement of the two sphinxes that drive his chariot. He is self-aware, understanding that his five sense organs link him to the external world. Aware also of the nature of his elemental nature, he realises the value and importance of harmonising his internal fire of spirit, earth of the material world, the air of his mental faculties and the water of his emotional nature. He knows that, at certain Full Moons, his emotions may be aroused so he consciously works with the cosmic energies of the Sun, Moon and other celestial bodies to maintain internal harmony and balance.
This year, there will be many more people awakening to their own divine essence and will begin to rely on it for guidance. How this awakening occurs may come through ill health. It doesn’t need to. The greater is the resistance to change, the more difficult life can become. Many souls are pre-programmed prior to birth to awaken to truth under certain astrological influences. These astrological influences can occur at any age, depending on the individual’s birth chart configuration. Currently, there are many younger people waking up to the truth of their own divinity, their non-breakable connection to Source. They have an important role to play in humanity’s future.
The message of this card, and for this year, is that, through your own free will and desire to awaken to truth, you can learn to purify, harmonise and manage your thoughts, speech and emotions and, though this inner developmental process become aware of Spirit’s influence in your everyday life. By taking this pathway of spiritual dedication you can experience your physical body becoming more vitalised even to the stage of it youthing.
Astrological Correspondence
The Moon and the sign of Cancer
The Moon has four seven-day cycles, and, since the Earth was created on the sixth day, the Moon, a satellite of the Earth, could not have manifested until after that.
Reflect on the crab, the pictograph relative to the sign of Cancer.
The crab carries its shell, its home, on its back. When threatened, the crab withdraws into its protective shell for emotional security and comfort. Occasionally this year, you may need to withdraw into your shell to reflect upon recent experiences and, by so doing, develop feelings of emotional security. When harmonised and clear minded, you can emerge from your shell with greater strength and deeper feelings of connection to your own Source of divine love.
During your inner reflective period you may find solace in the metaphysical, spiritual and philosophical ways of perceiving life.
