The Spiritual Growth Process
In esoteric astrology, the spiritual evolution of the soul is the purpose for incarnation. The energies of the planets and zodiac can be likened to stimulating agents through which we can consciously evolve. We can choose to become aware of their influences and work with them, or not.
I see no point in wasting a life. Aware as I am of the planetary transits, and their current influences in me, I thought it may assist your understanding to share the spiritual growth process I’m experiencing relative to transiting Saturn in Pisces. Many will have been experiencing similarly, especially if you have planets in the early mutable signs up to 15 degrees. Should you have placements in your chart from 15 to 29 degrees of a mutable sign, Saturn in Pisces is about to challenge your current understanding of life.
The sign of Pisces is naturally in a challenging 90 degree angle to both Gemini and Sagittarius, and is in direct opposition to Virgo. Not only is the Pisces energy influencing those of us who have planets or points in our birth charts up to 15 degrees Pisces it is also activating planets or points in Gemini, Sagittarius and Virgo. All these mutable signs can more easily adapt to change than the others signs. The Pisces/Virgo/Gemini/Sagittarius energies influence our brain. Mental illness can occur when we are unable to identify and manage the energies from these mutable signs. Many life lessons are to be learned connected to the way in which we use our brain, speech and thought processes. Self-awareness, through self- observation is needed.
Currently, transiting Saturn is challenging me, and millions of others, to become more aware of our thought patterns, especially the ones that have created mental habits that no longer serve our soul growth.
Saturn is a hard taskmaster and is patient. Through his transits to a placement in our birth charts -we know we have a life lesson to learn. We can choose to ascend further up the spiritual mountain to greater self-awareness or remain stuck in the mire of the separative thoughts that reside in our subconscious. It is healthier to choose to continue our soul growth.
During challenging Saturn transits I often feel I’m travelling through every-day life up to the summit of a spiritual mountain. I may be travelling on foot, in a bus with others, or on my own in a car. During the past year, I feel as if I have been travelling on foot – climbing the hard way – which has been a life-long habit of mine I’ve recently realised. I no longer choose to do life the hard way! Doing life the hard way has been emphasised since Saturn entered Pisces on 7th March 2023. It squared my Sagittarius Moon then, and continued on to challenge Pluto and Chiron! Some of the outward signs of mutable sign health problems have arisen to be realised for their psychological cause, and consciously healed. Virgo – digestive problems: Pisces – foot problems along with a foggy brain! Gemini: speech/hearing/learning and hand problems: Fortunately I’ve not ever experienced the Sagittarius problems with the hips and sciatic nerves.
When I feel I’m driving my own car up the spiritual growth mountain, I often have an Ah-Ha moment of self-realisation. As I have the realisation, I observe my brain immediately change gears, demonstrating its readiness to adapt to a new way of living life. My heart explodes with joy and I no longer feel heavy and dense. I’ve “seen the light” of my former ignorance.
My most recent experience demonstrating where I am “at” in my spiritual ‘upgrade’ journey was that I have only one more bend to go on the road before I turn the corner and reach the summit. Whew! This latest upgrade has been a big one!
Very soon after the self-realisation came a download about my future spiritual work. What joy! Saturn showered me with an energetic reward for the inner work accomplished. Of course there are greater responsibilities involved, and more detailed organisation. Knowing each step of the way will be revealed as I complete the first one, I accept I have earned the right to the upgrade for the inner growth work recently done. I’ve passed Saturn’s exam!
I received a confirming symbolic image – of a very large tropical plant with a dried up thick flower stem in the centre. I imagined myself gently extracting the thick dried stem. It easily popped out of its green socket. The old habit (the thick dried up stem) had been recognised and released and was now no longer of influence! It had served its purpose. New green and fertile soul growth is taking its place that will result in a flowering in Saturn’s timing – not mine!
A few minutes after this stem extraction I received a download of images and information relative to the next step of my soul’s work in the world. It’s exciting, and something I’ve not really thought about for a very long time. Yes, it will be a challenge because the next growth step for us all requires we step up to a higher mark and be our greater self.
