Change is a constant in life. Sometimes they can be swift and upsetting. How then can you be prepared? For those who have done much inner work over the years to harmonise their thoughts and emotions, the waves of change will be exciting. For others, disruptions and challenges will be their experience.
Yes Ashtara, you know this – so why do we repeat it?
Our purpose is to awaken as many people as possible to the necessity of developing psychological self-awareness. What does this mean?
To become aware of the thoughts that create emotional disturbances and their causes. When cause is accessed, responsibility taken for it and the action needed is taken to correct, harmonisation occurs.
Yes, we sound like a broken record. Readers will say – Yes, we know this.
We say, Why then are you emotionally upset? Why then do non-loving thoughts and actions still occur?
Within each individual soul is a wealth of wisdom and knowledge. It cannot emerge into everyday consciousness while the shadows of unresolved and unknown thoughts and emotions cover it.
The light of your brilliance is seeking emergence. Will you make the effort to allow its emergence?

Throughout the Age of Aquarius, the energy of this sign will permeate human minds. Chaotic minds are creating chaotic conditions on our planet. The ancient adage – “As above, so it is below – As within, so it is without” still applies in our modern world. Thoughts do create reality.
Rebellion, disruption, shocking and reactive behaviours by adults are the result of unaware minds and behaviours. I understand that most of these behaviours stem from their inner child who, sometime in their early childhood, experienced abandonment and separation from one or both parents.
The sign of Leo opposes the sign of Aquarius. Leo relates to love, children, playfulness, creativity and the inner child. Who, in their childhood, received the love and attention they needed?
Who didn’t?
For those who didn’t – where to begin? This was my dilemma. I knew something was missing because I felt it a deep aching hole inside me. I knew I needed to change to fill it up. What with? How and where was I to start? Questions plagued my mind.
My first step was to create a dedicated intention so I wrote words as they came into my mind until the combination felt right. Then began regular daily practice of my written intention followed by corrective action. I felt the value of this practice. Astrology found me. This remarkable tool aided my intention so I gave it full daily attention. I knew it was the detailed healing tool I needed to assist me in understanding my reality. I could feel the dark empty hole inside my heart slowly filling with another vibration. Friends asked me to teach them. I replied, saying I could only teach them what I was learning. They persisted with their request. I began teaching. The classes became regular. Others wanted to learn from me.
During daily meditation I connected with my inner child – cuddling her, pouring love into her – creating a conversation with her. What did my little girl want? I asked. What she said surprised. Crystals! We played with crystals, especially rose quartz. I purchased a rose quartz necklace and wore it every day for years. I also wore a piece of rose quartz in my bra and learned crystal healing techniques so I could harmonise my energies through their vibrations. My little child needed playmates so I created monthly play days with my students. Each attendee brought a personal soft toy. Mine was a fluffy koala bear. The toys needed to be named. Each play day one of the toys celebrated his or her birthday. A chocolate biscuit – complete with candle became a birthday cake. We sang “Happy Birthday” to the selected toy. We played ball and swam naked in my pool. Children’s songs were sung in a circle and we had such fun.
We felt, possibly for the first time in our lives, the freedom to be ourselves. Some former students reading this will remember these times.
And then one day, not too many years ago, my little girl told me she no longer needed my attention. She was an adult now and had her own life to lead. She thanked me for my love and care. I felt her self-assurance and wished her well.
Agathena & Jennifer’s Story
As I lay against the nurturing and loving body of Agathena, a majestic fire dragon, I can feel a gentle breeze and the warmth of the sun on my skin. I am barefoot, wearing a rustic red flowing dress with a leather belt and a leather headpiece set with amethyst stones. We are safe and resting, waiting for my true love to join us with his dragon. Others of our soul tribe will join us along with other elementals and sentient beings. There is work to be done.
Planets have been destroyed, my original home was one. It is my vow that I will do all I can so it does not happen to Mother Earth, Gaia.
It is a time that is not often spoke about, the time between the fall and rise of civilisations.
This is the phase of purification and rebalancing.
We work with the energies of the land. We help transform and clear any darkness that has been left behind in the lands. Transmuting the energies. There is also the task of the physical work, dismantling, burning, removing, covering the civilisations, planting energetic seeds of knowledge, truth and balancing beautiful Mother Earth, Gaia.
Will the next civilisation descend into darkness and fall once again or ascend and raise into higher consciousness of star status?
Will the next civilisation remember who they truly are?
Will the next civilisation connect to the divine light within?
Will the next civilisation choose love over fear?

The Lion, the Moon and the Platypus
An unusual threesome in my head as I stalked rumours of platypus along the banks of the creek. I was thinking about how the usual things of our natural world are really quite unusual, with platypus being a prime example. Lunar cycles and the upcoming Lions Gate portal can also be fairly unusual, through natural events.
Each year there are fluctuations in the local platypus populations. Each year there is a full moon in Aquarius and each year the Lions Gate energy portal opens fully on 8th August. The “extra” in the ordinary of these two heavenly cycles this year is provided by the Aquarian full moon (09/08/25) falling hot on the heels of the 8:8 energy portal. Such a powerful combination of energies most likely means expecting more of the unexpected.
“All well and good”, I was thinking, “but how do I stay alert, calm and grounded in times of the unexpected?” Perhaps by using the same tactics as tracking wildlife? The most repeated “dos” I was told regarding platypus watching: Do Be Quiet, Do Be as Sensitive to myself in the environment as possible and (absolutely everyone says this is the most important point) Do Be Patient.. Platypus are very sensitive to their surroundings and go about their lives quietly, with the least interference (or observation) by others as possible.
Taking the time to be quiet and sensitive to myself in the environment allows for more awareness of my processes – thoughts, feelings, emotions and actions –and how they might affect my life. Practicing being patient with myself and others allows a breathing space as we navigate these unpredictable times. Noticing the energetic connection between myself and my environment helps me stay present with what is actually happening and allows a more grounded and thoughtful response over a startled, unplanned reaction or potential misadventure.
Whilst I didn’t see any platypus, I did see their signature ripples in the water, which means more practicing patience and the other platypus “Dos”, to keep looking and enjoying the sparkles of potential on the water as we travel through the Lions Gate portal and the full moon over the next few days.

Christine talks about the Lion’s Gate: Some refer to this day in our calendar year, 8th August, as when our Sun, moving through the zodiacal sign of Leo, aligns with the brightest star in our night sky – Sirius.
