Chiron in Aries

Since Chiron entered fiery Aries in March 2019, the search for identity – to know oneself – again entered the consciousness of humanity. Who am I really? Am I the person society and parental programming have turned me into being? Or, am I someone completely different?
The answer to this question has been given to many millions of people since then – and many more are waking up to their true identity. As the astronomers say: We are made of stardust and we came from the stars.
Chiron was discovered in our Solar System in November 1977, confusing some astronomers. Some referred to it as a renegade from outer space; a comet, a dwarf planet or an asteroid. In my experience the energy it emanates is subtlety powerful and aids the evolution of human consciousness, and the healing of our soul’s wounds.
Over many years, I’ve written articles about it as it occupied years of intense investigation into my inner realms. Situated between Saturn and Uranus in our Solar System, it has an elliptical orbit. It’s myth tells many interesting stories – of Chiron being a teacher of the esoteric sciences, including astrology, as well as a healer. He was wounded by a centaur and suffered because of it.
We entered our earth plane carrying a soul wound, usually psychological. Occasionally it manifests as a physical wound or a disfiguration. According to esoteric astrology, our souls incarnated into this third dimensional realm to experience, and to heal our soul’s wounds accumulated over many lifetimes on this beautiful planet.
Currently, April 2025, Chiron is positioned at 22 degrees Aries activating people to truly know themselves, on a deep spiritual level. A huge spiritual awakening is taking place as many people realise their soul’s true identity as a spiritual being of light.
Part of the questioning that naturally follows on from who am I really is: Why am I here on this beautiful but troubled planet? What is my purpose for being here? These questions can become a life and death issue as internal restlessness and confusion arises from them.
According to well known astrologer and author, Barbara Hand Claw in her book Chiron, rainbow bridge between the inner and outer planets, the energy of Chiron is that of a warrior initiate with a dose of Mars contained within it. It’s pioneering and often trailblazing.
Children born from the 2018 dates above carry this Chiron in Aries energy. Parents, you can help them become confident, courageous and pioneering. Encourage them to be independent. They need to learn self-discipline because it will strengthen their minds, enabling confident forward action. As they grow, encourage them to follow their fascination which could be a certain discipline such as a subject /profession/way of life that interests and excites. This discipline will eventually empower them to follow their calling. These children or the adults born previously under Chiron in Aries energy, listed above, need constant physical and mental activity otherwise frustration and restlessness develops. The house position in their birth chart reveals the area of life where healing progress is made. Limitation will drive them crazy.
Wherever Chiron is placed in your birth charts indicates where (house) and what (sign ) is your deepest soul wounding. And this position also provides clues as to how you can work with it to understand the issues involved so you can realise and release stagnant and shadow energy, thus enabling self-healing. When the issues are loved to death, the soul’s purpose for incarnation becomes known and a courageous and purposeful dedication to its manifestation ensues.
