FULL MOON MARCH 30 12.25 PM AEST 10 DEGREES LIBRA
According to esoteric wisdom teachings there are three important Full Moon spiritual festivals in our calendar year. These are: The Festival of the Christ (Easter): The Festival of the Buddha (Wesak) and the Festival of Humanity. The first weekend after the Full Moon that follows the March equinox is designated as Easter. It is this current approaching Full Moon. Therefore, let us look more closely at the symbolic themes associated with Easter. These are the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.
The resurrection of Jesus can be viewed as the time when his soul transfigured into his light body because he had passed his final spiritual initiation on Earth. Mary Magdalen was the first to view this transfiguration. She wanted to embrace him but he asked her not to because he had not yet fully embodied Christ consciousness (his spiritualised body of light).
He did say to his disciples, including Mary Magdalen his most beloved companion, that whatever he did we could also do. However we do not have to die on our self-created cross of suffering before we transfigure into our light bodies. We can now transmute our density whilst in our bodies because of the spiritual evolutionary growth progress that has taken place within the hearts and minds of humanity during the past 2000 years.
Usually the first image of Easter that comes to the mind of the collective psyche is that of the crucifixion. However this is changing. The image of the resurrection and ascension into the light body is beginning to take precedence as we enter the Age of Aquarius. The Age of Pisces, an Age of suffering, illusion, delusion and deception, is coming to an end.
Jesus and Mary Magdalen were born at the beginning of the Age of Pisces. In 325AD at the Council of Nicea, the Church of Rome decided to adopt Christianity as its area of focus and dictated the terms and conditions of the teachings. These teachings totally excluded the equality between masculine and feminine and the huge importance of Mary Magdalen to Jesus life. This amplified humanity’s energy of imbalance for the entire Piscean Age. This is also changing as new evidence of truth is sweeping our planet.
For the past two thousand years, during the astrological Age of Pisces, humans bought into the belief that we must suffer on a symbolic cross during our life. This belief, no matter how subtle and unconscious, resulted in the perpetuation of self-doubt, victim status, martyrdom, escape patterns and addictions according to one’s own personal “cross”. The new Aquarian Age is bringing sweeping changes to balance these and other outmoded masculine power based religious beliefs.
At this Libra Full Moon phase you have the opportunity to see where and how you unconsciously create imbalance, especially in your one-to-one intimate relationships. ‘Me’ vs. ‘We’ comes under scrutiny now. To utilize fully this opportunity you need to be willing to view and own without judgment, your shadow games. You may choose to ask others for feedback to further your understanding.
A Full Moon reflects the bright light of the Sun, the source of our greatest light and life force energy. Therefore, symbolically, we can see more clearly into our personal shadow side at a Full Moon phase than at other times. A Full Moon pulls the tides of the ocean more strongly than at other times. Hence the Full Moon reflects our strong inner tides (emotions, feelings and psychic perceptions).
With this current Full Moon activating your internal Aries/Libra polarity the best utilization of the energy is for you to take positive pioneering action to bring about a state of internal balance, peace and harmony. To do this you will need to have the self-awareness around the characteristics and attitudes within you that need to be brought into balance.
Become aware of any Libran NICE (Nothing Inside of me Cares Enough!) games. If your usual state of being is to play the passive co-dependant, doormat, NICE peacemaker-to-others role then it is time for independent, self-assertive and confident self-action. This will energize you so much you will wonder why you haven’t played this game more frequently. Alternatively, if you usually play the inconsiderate, selfish dominating aggressor then it’s time to see yourself clearly and choose to consider others equally to yourself, thus bringing about the necessary inner and outer balance.
As Libra is an air (mental) sign it would be wise to work through any relationship difficulties by talking less and attentively listening more.
Listen with feeling and sensitivity rather than wanting to get your point across first. By opening your heart to communicating your true feelings without ever using the word “you” (this implies blame), peace can be established in a warring relationship.
Embrace and accept your differences, celebrate the love you truly feel for each other and commit to creating internal peace. This means facing fears and limiting beliefs, firstly by becoming aware of them and then by taking positive affirmative action to transform them. The best way to establish peace on Earth is to create internal peace within. This conscious action is true service.
Your positive and responsible conscious choices and follow through action will not only result in internal balance but also bring harmony to your relationships. Thus the energy of balance begins to permeate the collective psyche and then finally our precious planet.
To aid your understanding of the Aries/Libra 28 1/2 day Moon cycle I’ll list some key words associated with their themes and issues. We all have these cosmic energies in our psychological matrix, to differing degrees, however most people are unconscious of them. These Moon Musings enable you to become conscious of, and learn to feel the current cosmic frequencies coursing through you that activate your desires and urges.
Libra: Is an air sign that relates to mental functioning. Libra is the peacemaker, the diplomat who requires equality. “It isn’t fair!” can be a regular phrase spoken! Libra usually considers the other above self. Therefore it can easily play the “doormat”, especially in relationships. Some of the keywords associated with issues and themes of Libra are: Functional: considerate, cooperative, peaceful, harmonious, fair, equality, justice, beauty, symmetry, balance, mediator, diplomat: Dysfunctional: inactive, inertia, NICE (Nothing Inside of me Cares Enough), lacks confidence, dependent, social butterfly, superficial and insincere.
Aries: Is a fire sign and provides the energy for new beginnings. It relates to your ability to “get up and go/do for yourself”. Some of the key words associated with the themes and issues of Aries are: Functional: independent; proactive, confident, assertive, dynamic, pioneer, entrepreneur: Dysfunctional: impatient, bully, hot headed, selfish, inconsiderate, insensitive, self-centred, aggressive and dominating.
The question you can ask yourself at this time is “How best can I bring balance and harmony to these two opposing energies within me?”
Those of you with a strong Libra/Aries emphasis in your birth chart will experience specific life challenges, especially in relationships, in order for you to consciously develop balance on all levels of your being; spiritual, mental, emotional and physical. When an area of your life is out of balance you will experience resistance in both your internal and external world until you choose to consciously correct. Once you have attained a constant level of internal balance and harmony your outer world will reflect this inner energetic patterning. Life will seem to be magical because you operate your life “in the flow” of the cosmic energy currents.
Why not do a stock take of your life from the ‘observer’ perspective to check if an area of your life is out of balance? Some of the areas you might look at are: work, relationships, family, home, love, recreation, spirituality and money. If you find an area out of balance then you know that you are the only person who has created it and therefore the only one who can correct it. Why not take up your Aries reins and commit to doing so? Your life will positively reflect your commitment and follow through action.
Your spiritual evolutionary challenge is to become conscious of your psychological games and choose to correct those that are dense and dark. Astrology is an amazing tool to aid your consciousness development.
Those readers who have planets or points in their birth chart around 10 degrees of Aries/Libra/Cancer/ Capricorn, all cardinal signs, will feel the affects of this Full Moon more so than others.
Why not check your birth chart before this cosmic event so you can be prepared for new self-understandings? You will need to look into your chart to see where the degree of the Full Moon (10 degrees) is positioned and then connect your findings to the house (area of life) that contains this sign and degree. This is the area that will be highlighted by this Full Moon. Should you have a planet or point around this degree it will be activated by the Full Moon.
Negotiations and contracts can be highlighted now and are likely to be successful providing there is a win/win outcome under consideration by both parties. Mars is now direct so any creative projects delayed since December 2009 can be rekindled with greater impetus. Mercury and Venus dance together offering an energetic channel for open hearted, loving, considerate and honest communication. There is a need to relate to others diplomatically and harmoniously in order to get your point across.
Is this a Blue Moon? There has been much written about Blue Moons already this year. It’s the second full Moon for March but only in Australia because of our time zone difference. Technically a Blue Moon is one whereby two Full Moons fall in the same zodiacal sign the whole world over. This is quite rare. From my perspective this March Full Moon is not a Blue Moon. I always like to consider the fact that our calendar is man-made (created at the beginning of the Age of Pisces and taking over from a Moon calendar) and does not reflect the precise cosmic movements. Other cultures still use a Moon calendar.
Transiting (travelling) Saturn (0 deg Libra) is conservatively waltzing with this Full Moon offering the energy of stability and the necessity to take personal responsibility for the part you play in emotional upsets.
On 7th April transiting Pluto at 5 degrees of Capricorn slowly grinds to a halt (or appears to do so from our perspective on Earth) preparing to travel retrograde. Anyone who has planets or points in their birth charts around the 0 – 7 degrees of Capricorn/Cancer/Aries Libra, all cardinal signs, will be feeling a deep underground stirring to transform old ways of being and doing. The old ways of being are no longer fulfilling. A powerful restlessness and urge to move on is taking place.
Pluto rules the evolution of the soul and, for you who are being activated, the relentless transformative urge of Pluto will win out. How this occurs is different for everyone but that it does occur is a given. Something, an old aspect of self, has to die before a re-birth can take place. This process takes about 3-4 years. I highly recommend psychological depth digging during a Pluto transit to a placement in your birth chart as well as a visit to a qualified astrologer. This positive action will help to alleviate self-destructive unconscious behaviour.
A Pluto activation occurs rarely in a life-time but when it does it packs quite a punch, somewhat like a volcano erupting! It gurgles and gurgles deep within the subconscious realms, bringing up unconscious dense psychological garbage, which is eventually spewed. The dense energy emerging from its hiding place can harm many people in its wake if not handled with conscious self-responsibility.
Venus moves into its own sign of Taurus on Thursday April 1st and offers a sensuous, earthy quality to relating. Why not take time out to relax and ‘smell the roses’ to regain inner peace? And then demonstrate your love and appreciation for your beloved in a balanced, joyful and harmonious manner. Venus is the archetypal energy of love, beauty, peace and harmony and is also the planetary ruler of Libra.
She loves beautiful natural fabrics, food, flowers, and the beauty of nature. She appreciates Nature’s natural therapeutic gifts such as Young Living Essential Oils. Why not give a bunch of beautiful roses to that special someone? Why not give them to yourself? Or why not buy for yourself some beautiful pure oils to anoint and heal your body? The Young Living Oils I recommend for Libra/Aries are: Joy and Valor. Valor balances the inner masculine and feminine energies when applied to the balls of the feet and Joy activates joyous creative expression.
May Peace and Love fill you days
Much love and many blessings,
