The birth chart planets and points act like acupuncture points in our four bodies i.e. spiritual, mental, emotional and physical. Negative dysfunctional mental and emotional energy stagnates and solidifies at these places when old psychological issues remain unconscious and unresolved. Throughout life, via the magnetic Law of Attraction, repeated similarly related dense psychological patterning gathers energetic mass that eventually creates illness and disease. Astro-physicists have now concluded we are made of stardust so it’s wise to learn about and understand your inner ‘stardust’ components so you can choose to manage your self well in all areas of your life.

Gemini is an air sign meaning that it is related to the intellect and left-brain function. The pictograph for Gemini is the twins.  This symbol relates to physical twins or the metaphysical twin within the psychological matrix of every individual.  e.g the higher (soul) self and the lower (personality ego) self.   The issues and themes relating to Gemini are to do with movement in the body and mind.   Therefore Gemini relates to your thoughts, the way you move, learn and speak, use language and words; communicate your truth (of your feelings and understanding of life) and ability to listen attentively, with focus, to really hear what is being said.

Sagittarius is a fire sign, meaning it is fired by inspiration, intuition, inner knowing, drive, enthusiasm and a quest for truth, meaning, purpose and self-understanding. This symbol indicates your ability to choose a specific life target and learn how to fire your “arrow” carefully and deliberately, with full focus and attention to hit your target.

This Full Moon has the Sun moving through Sagittarius whilst the Full Moon is positioned exactly opposite in Gemini.  Therefore themes relating to the key words above will arise in your life.   For example - some of you might feel the urge to travel to distant places that you had never before considered.  Some might have difficulties in communicating truth.  Some might avoid speaking or acknowledging your truth because of fear of repercussions; some might choose to undergo an extensive course of study, such as astrology, to expand your spiritual, cultural, religious or self-understanding, Some could choose to focus on writing and complete unfinished articles or books.   

At the time of any Full Moon intuition, which is a receptive and feminine function of the right brain, is heightened.  At this Full Moon it is likely to be much stronger than at other times. Be mindful and listen carefully to your internal guidance.  This is a cosmic opportunity to bring into balance the respective functions of your right and left brain.   You are likely to receive downloads of inspiring and expansive ideas. The cosmic channels will also be available for you to gain greater self-understanding. 

Pay close attention, from a ‘witness’ perspective, to the way your mind works and become aware of old beliefs that no longer serve you.  Remember that contained within the word ‘belief’ is the word ‘lie’.   Many of your beliefs contain lies.  To ascertain your truth you will need to encourage your mind to be in present time, rather than allow it to wander into the past or future.  Be aware that whatever you think is what you will get.

We create our reality by the thoughts we think and the emotions we attach to them!  It is wise to become mindful and self-aware. Allow negative thoughts to pass through your mind and choose not give them any emotional charge. They are unnecessary for your forward movement.    For example – any thoughts that run along the lines of “I know it all”  “I have nothing more to learn”.  Woops!  Some intellectual arrogance here! Any righteousness will only attract like!  Unwise to take that path!

Focus instead on creating your reality from the positive and uplifting thoughts that naturally arise when the negative are no longer listened to and acted upon.

During this Full Moon phase it would be wise to meditate to create an internal calm and still state of being. Regular meditation will enable you to raise your frequency.  This in turn enables the voice of your spiritual guide/higher self to make itself known.  It is also likely that you will develop greater self-understanding that, when acted upon positively, will help to set you free from old psychological chains.  Truth, when based on love, heals! 

Acknowledging, accepting and owning the truth of your feelings and behaviour, and choosing to change dysfunctional and inappropriate psychological games is a most important step on your spiritual journey to the light of higher consciousness.

At this Full Moon phase Venus rocks in to Sagittarius, and Mercury is also passing through this sign, thereby enabling greater visionary abilities.  Be aware that, in the lead up to this Full Moon, ‘over the top’ emotions could arise based on past memory and ancestral beliefs.  If this is the case then learn your truth from them.   Your truth is not found in your mind. It is filled with other people’s beliefs.  For example you may become aware of how you have allowed past religious dogma, or your mother’s beliefs, prejudice or bigotry to adversely influence you.   Your truth resides in your emotions, feelings and body sensations and everyone’s truth is different.

For those who have been consciously developing greater self-understanding choose to rise to the frequency of your higher self and learn to see clearly how you, as the personality/ego self, operate psychologically in your daily life.  It will be very illuminating.  From acknowledgement and acceptance of your truth through that learning experience you will be able to take huge forward steps.

The goddess Vesta challenges this Full Moon.  Vesta requires that you commit to a practical, purposeful and meaningful life target that will stretch you beyond where you currently operate in life.   Are you willing to be stretched, to grow into who you really are?  Are you willing to let go of “littleness” and aim your arrow high, possibly towards a global target? What have you got to lose”?  Only your comfort zone of littleness!  

Mars in Leo now opposes the three cosmic bodies, Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter.  These three are very closely aligned again in Aquarius. Mars provides the drive and energy to begin anew and to establish greater confidence and self-assertion. Mars is prodding and stimulating the three players to “get their act together” to let go of past illusions, deception and fantasy, heal ancestral wounds around lack of love and move forward!

Jupiter is preparing to move forward quite quickly.  He has other business to attend to and won’t be returning to assist the advancement the other two cosmic players for a long, long time! Therefore use the available cosmic energy to “get your act” together.  Commit to aiming your arrow very, very carefully at your chosen specific target and let it fly!   Be open, honest and authentic in all your interactions and allow a high moral code, ethical conduct and a strong belief in yourself, and the higher power who breathes through you, to move forward purposefully and meaningfully in your life.
