This quest for life’s meaning and purpose is a Sagittarian theme.  It has inspired human thought for aeons of time. We now have the answers to these questions because of the huge shift in human consciousness that is taking place.  Awakened and conscious individuals are being downloaded with incredible information.  It telepathically enters the calm and relaxed minds of those attentively listening.    This accelerated evolutionary process is occurring because of incredibly huge cosmic cycles that are completing at the December solstice in 2012.   It is time for the truth, meaning and purpose of human existence to be revealed to those who genuinely quest for higher understanding.

New science, in the form of quantum physics/mechanics and cosmology is connecting to ancient sacred esoteric wisdom.  As the Age of Aquarius draws near the great leap in human consciousness will ensure that miracles will appear to happen every day.  You will soon be viewing your life creations objectively, from a higher perspective, and will be amazed at your ability to create consciously. 

The themes of the 2009 Sagittarian New Moon provide an energetic opportunity to initiate broader understanding, meaning and purpose in your life. You are likely to feel more optimistic and expansive and may be planning meaningful trips overseas or a course of advanced study.   This Sagittarian energy provides the opportunity for spiritual evolutionary growth that enables a more meaningful and purposeful life.  You will feel like moving forward and it is the time to do so.

Be aware of your hips, sciatic nerve and thighs.  Should you decide not to move forward and choose stagnation instead then those areas of your body will “act out” and demand your attention. The health of your body is a direct result of unconscious thoughts and the associated emotional energy attached to them. Disease cannot possibly live in a healthy body and a conscious positive mind.

As mentioned in my previous Moon Musings the focus for this Moon cycle is on the Gemini/Sagittarius polarity. To aid your understanding I’ll list some key words associated with the themes and issues of Gemini/Sagittarius.  We all have these zodiacal energies in our psychological matrix, to differing degrees. Those readers who have planets or points in their birth chart around 25 degrees of Gemini/Sagittarius/
Virgo/Pisces, all mutable signs, will feel the affects of this New Moon more so than others. Why not look to your birth chart to check this out?  

Gemini is an air sign meaning that it is related to the intellect and left-brain function. The pictograph for Gemini is the twins.  This symbol relates to physical twins or the metaphysical twin within the psychological matrix of every individual.  e.g the Higher (soul) self and the lower (personality ego) self.   The issues and themes relating to Gemini are to do with movement in the body and mind.   Therefore Gemini relates to your thoughts, the way you move, learn and speak, use language and words and communicate your truth (of your feelings and understanding of life). It also relates to your ability to listen attentively and really hear what is being said. It is also about connecting with others through networks.

This symbol indicates your ability to choose a specific life target and learn how to fire your “arrow” carefully and deliberately, with full focus and attention to hit your target. This astrological month is the time when your symbolic “arrow” can hit your target.

Everything happens for a purpose.  However, until you choose to expand your mind to embrace a broader perspective you will not understand that purpose.  When you do “get it” an energetic wash of comprehension occurs.  You see a “bigger picture”.  Then your life develops greater meaning.

According to ancient sacred wisdom teachings, your soul’s purpose for incarnation is to evolve spiritually into higher consciousness (enlightenment). This journey enables the access of multi-dimensional frequencies.  Your soul carries the memory/knowledge/experience of everything that ever was or will be and your astrology chart is a holographic model of this understanding.

Cosmologists now describe the universe as a hologram and, within a holistic medium we are always connected. In more meaningful words it is through the life force energy of Spirit/God/Source that we are all connected as one. To understand this concept you can imagine your self as a cell within the body of a great formless energetic being. Every cell (human) is interconnected and each contributes to the whole.   When enough people realize their interconnectedness to each other and to Source wars will stop. This faculty is not the function of the logical and linear left-brain (Gemini).  It is inner knowing, understanding and truth. (Sagittarius).  A great ocean of truth lies within you.  To access it requires a quest for self-understanding and enlightenment (Sag.) and the willingness to listen to, and really hear (Gemini) the messages of your inner teacher, your Higher Self. It is only through feeling, bodily sensations, intuition and telepathy that you will access your truth.

We become what we think about the most. Therefore it is wise to choose to master your thoughts and to think those that are inspirational and uplifting.   Add a depth of positive feeling to them and then observe positive manifestation occur.  You are the master designer of your life so why not choose to design it well?

A valuable question to ask yourself whenever thoughts of self-doubt or limitation flit through your mind is: “Do I want to be a prisoner of my past or a pioneer of my future?” Your decision and subsequent focus and action will determine your future.

Venus joins the Sun and Moon in Sagittarius at this new Moon and Venus is the planet of love and relationship.   We humans have the capacity to self-generate the energy and essence of love. At this New Moon there is a wonderful energetic channel available to do so.  Why not choose to set aside time to meditate before this New Moon and visualise yourself planting seeds of love into your heart space? At the same time focus your thoughts on a possible, practical, detailed and meaningful scenario that you would love to experience.  This is not to involve another known person because it is unethical to interfere with another’s path.

When you are clear and have relaxed into a deep meditative state visualize and feel yourself being a participant in this very detailed scenario.  Feel what it would be like.  Feel it intensely, see it clearly, and then let it go.   You may choose to write about your experience in your journal.   The more relaxed, peaceful and aligned in body, mind, and spirit and the more clear and detailed you are in your visualization and energetic projection the easier will be the flow of manifestation.  

On Sunday 20th December, just prior to the December solstice, Mars, at 19 degrees Leo, changes motion from direct to retrograde and stays retrograde until 10th March 2010.  What does this mean?    From our perspective on Earth it appears as if Mars will be moving backwards in the heavens.   Therefore we will experience the driving force of Mars reversed.  We may not feel as motivated and energized as we usually do. Any new projects may temporarily lose their thrust or there may appear to be a lack of progress. Impatience and frustration will not alter the process!  Its’ best to accept the cosmic forces!  They’re stronger than you!   There may be a step you missed in your new forward direction and this space offers a valuable time of review.     

In the southern hemisphere the summer solstice falls on 22nd December. This is when the Sun moves into the sign of Capricorn.  This year it will connect closely with Pluto so, if your birthday is around 22nd – 24th December there is an opportunity for transformation and empowerment.   Deep emotions may arise, seemingly from nowhere, and it is important to take responsibility for them.  They will be offering you an opportunity to grow spiritually into greater self-understanding.

Mercury in Capricorn retrogrades again on Sun 26 December until15th January so problems with communication and movement may arise.   This is a good time to sort out paperwork, clean up your desk, re-organize, re-systemize and prepare well for 2010.
