You have the most magnificent and precious body because within it is your living library of truth. It is your most valuable resource. Why not ponder open how well you allow it to serve you? Taurus rules the senses of the body.  You can learn to understand your personal “body talk” and how your senses register truth or falsity by placing your attention on your body. This New Moon in Taurus is a powerful time to become aware of, and utilize positively, this valuable resource.  For example some people register ‘goose bumps’ over their body when a powerful insightful truth is spoken. They know that, by acting on this wisdom,  ‘magic’ occurs.

 Specific key words, fragrances and colour trigger the body, the temple of our soul, into remembering.  Take notice of how your amazing body performs this valuable service. And then feel genuine appreciation for it. The frequency of appreciation will assist in the development of a loving vibration.

Taurus rules the throat chakra and thyroid. For thousands of years women have denied speaking the truth of their feelings and inner knowing because of a deeply rooted fear of the consequences. Therefore their throat chakra is blocked and pure heart felt sound waves cannot pass through this fear blockage.  Throat problems eventually manifest.   You can heal the cause of these problems by speaking your heart-felt truth without ever blaming the other. This New Moon phase is a good time to commit to this practise.   To assist the opening of your throat chakra you can take singing classes or practice toning or chanting until you can feel the sounds resonating in your heart.  It is from this place of resonance that joy surfaces.

Following are some key words relating to Taurus, and its opposing sign of Scorpio.
The two signs cannot be understood in isolation because they are two poles of the one dynamic. 

Taurus:  An earth sign meaning all that is grounded, earthed, practical and material.  Earth signs rule our physical body and material world.  Key words: Themes:  values/ talents/resources and the ability to create substance and abundance from your natural resources and talents.  Functional: abundance, substance, self-sufficiency, self-worth, self-respect, sensual, beauty of nature, determined, wealth, money, quality, secure financially, respects body and its senses. Dysfunctional: stubborn, resistant to change, insecure financially, greedy, lazy, rut bound, mean, fixed, indulgent, slothful, possessive, attached to comfort zone.
Scorpio:  a water sign meaning all that is fluid.  The water element rules our emotional body. Scorpio emotions are intense and the truth of them can be buried very deep.  Key words: Themes:  death/rebirth/ sex/money/ power/shared resources.   Functional: self-empowerment, psychological detective, research, deep, penetrating, focused, passion, able to manage well shared resources and release old self-destructive habits, fulfilling sacred sex; Dysfunctional: powerless, secretive, manipulative, revenge, resentment, jealousy, envy, hatred; dangerous, forceful, obsessive, interfering in other people’s business, poisonous, prostitution, underhand, toxic sex.

The parts of the body affected by dense and poisonous psychological energy are the eliminatory and sexual organs.  There are three pictograph symbols for Scorpio that relate to three different levels of consciousness as:  The scorpion that stings it’s own tail and dies (the unconscious state of being); the eagle who is able to fly above the density of the physical world to see the bigger picture (transitioning into higher consciousness) and the phoenix, the mythical bird who has the ability to rise from the ashes of the former self (attainment of higher consciousness).  These three states of being symbolically relate to the spiritual evolutionary process of the Scorpio energy within you.  

Saturn, the ‘tester’ and archetypal Lord of Time and Karma, is cautiously prodding Chiron and Neptune indicating that it is time to dissolve rigid mental ego barriers and heal past wounds.  How can you do this unless you can see them clearly?   This is the value of astrology because they are clearly depicted in the birth chart and a qualified intuitive astrologer can point them out to you. Once you understand what they are you become empowered to act positively.  

As mentioned in my previous Musing it is time to re-visit and re-work any old projects that need completing and this will probably take concerted effort, time, patience and discipline.  This disciplined action will then free you up and enable inspired ideas and concepts to dance into your mind. Saturn also requires that you take personal responsibility for the reality you have created thus far in your life.  Many people don’t want to do this however you can lead the way by being a pattern breaker.  Saturn requires accountability.  Much healing can take place now if you are willing to dig deeply into your subconscious regions to extract psychological cause of wounds.  Accept responsibility for them and move on.  It will not serve you to indulge and dwell in the murky depths of the past.  Pure essential oils can aid your healing process as will therapeutic flower essences.

Jupiter and Uranus are now waltzing even closer together after many long years of separation. These are the two planetary energies that enable your accelerated advance in consciousness.  One way they do this is to help you see how some of your old beliefs no longer have value and need discarding.  They are no longer true for you.  When these are understood and released new futuristic concepts will enter your consciousness. You will feel excited at the new stretch presented.  It would be wise to make that stretch and overcome any fear of doing so.  Staying stuck in a comfort zone of security does not enable forward movement.
