FULL MOON MARCH 11th 1.36 PM AEST 21 DEGREES VIRGO

This Full Moon highlights the Uranus in Pisces/Saturn in Virgo opposition that has been prevalent for since October 2008. Virgo themes are those of service, work, health, healing, and small animals, whilst Pisces reflects service to our inner divinity through spiritual practices. At this Full Moon it is a good time to commit to taking greater care of our bodies, mind and Spirit. Energy is also available for finding workable and practical solutions to everyday problems. In your Full Moon meditations you might choose to set your intention to do what you can to enable personal and global peace and healing.

Some of the psychological issues that arise through Virgo are: expectations of others performing to our perfectionist standards: criticism, judgments and discrimination. Through the polarity mirror of Pisces we can play the games of rescuer or saviour; experience and unconsciously play out deception, sabotage, martyrdom, gullibility and victim hood.

Uranus likes to shake, rattle and roll the concrete Saturnian structures of the mind that contain old, outworn parental and societal beliefs. Uranus will do its best to break through our mental rigidity in order for the light of higher consciousness to enter. This polarity is very strong now so, if you haven’t been consciously raising your levels of self-awareness as a service to yourself and others this Full Moon is likely to be the trigger that enables the process.

You can prevent upsetting chaos and major “wake-up calls” by making the commitment to see yourself, and any self-sabotaging psychological games you play, more clearly. So, why not make that commitment now? It’s far better than having a “Mack truck” suddenly slam bam into your life! These “wake-up calls” can come in the form of sudden health problems, relationship break-downs or consciousness break-throughs.

Animals are great mirrors for triggering the subtle emotions of our issues. They can bring out our deepest love, compassion, anger, frustration, control, fear, grief, caring, lack of trust and many more. They will take on board our dense psychic emotional energy thereby create illness for themselves or play the issue out for us so we can see it clearly.

My loyal best friend, my beloved little dog “Tui” brought out all of these in me. Earlier in our relationship his major reflection was my lack of trust. He taught me well how to trust him, Great Spirit and myself. He kept on running away from home onto the main road at the onset of storms. He was always picked up on the road by someone in a car and taken away to their destination. Because his name- tag had my phone number clearly written on it the people that rescued him would always call and I would go and collect him from their home or office. He did this maybe twenty - thirty times until I got the message of trust. Then it no longer happened!

I didn’t want to face my inner storms because I didn’t trust myself enough to deal with my issues. Nor did I trust that he would be looked after. Another issue, just before he passed away, was that he showed me how I was suppressing a deep inner need to expand hugely in my inner spiritual and outer working life. He passed away carrying a huge growth whilst I was undergoing a Jupiter (huge spiritual growth) transit. Pets pick up, respond to and often play out our unresolved, unexpressed, and unconscious emotionality. Immediate feedback is available if we allow ourselves to be open to it. They are also great comforters in times of need.

There is still a large alignment of planetary placements travelling together through the sign of Aquarius, which is the sign ruled by Uranus. This amplifies the ‘awakening to higher consciousness’ theme. Many will experience sudden upsetting outbursts or incidents.

Chiron (the wounded healer and bridge to higher consciousness) is dancing beside Neptune (unveiling of ego patterns) and Mars (action, assertiveness, confidence and new beginnings) as part of this package. They are in hard aspect to Saturn and Moon in Virgo. Put their themes together and what have you got? It’s time to heal old family wounds related to alienation, rejection and separation from love. When you do this healing within your self it will change your chemistry and you will no longer feel an emotional charge around the family issue. You will feel free and much lighter.

It would be wise to commit to unveiling your self-sabotaging motivations relating to the old family wounds and take responsibility for them. No one ‘did it to you’! On some subconscious level of your being you attracted the hurtful situation in order to grow and evolve spiritually. When the truth is unveiled you will become free of delusion and suffering. At this time you may find yourself choosing between two totally different paths. My recommendation is to commit to the pathway of joy, love, creativity and excitement, as this will make your soul rejoice and enable magic to happen. Yes, you might have to learn new skills, and yes, you might have to make changes to your daily life, but aren’t changes a constant part of life?

Jupiter, travelling beside both the North Node and Goddess Juno also form part of the grouping of Aquarian planets. What does this mean? Allow and encourage your inner teacher to awaken you to the truth of those beliefs that keep you separated from love. It is time to break free of them.
