LEO LUNAR ECLIPSE

At the recent solar eclipse there was an energetic gateway available for the birthing of a new frequency – a new consciousness.   Many people within my circle experienced meditations or dreams related to giving birth.  This interesting phenomena indicates there is likely to have been many more “cosmic mothers” around the planet who had similar experiences. The Universe speaks to us in symbols and it is wise to learn this language. These “cosmic mothers” birthed a new conscious self-awareness that led to a bright idea or ideal that will eventually be of benefit to humanity. Your “baby” needs to be nurtured, loved and nourished with uplifting and energizing thoughts, feelings and follow-through positive actions based on faith, self-belief, confidence and leadership. A new frequency was birthed at the 2009 Aquarian solar eclipse! A cosmic egg hatched!

We are in the process of birthing a New World.  This is so very exciting.  What will this “baby” look like?  How can we possibly know? Humanity has never experienced this new world because it is being created with every thought, emotion, feeling and action we take.  The seeds of this birthing are being anchored in the fertile soil of the subconscious and, at this February Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse greater light of understanding may be received relating to the next step of your evolutionary journey.

The continuation of this particular eclipse family enables destiny to unfold through spiritual growth.  What does this mean?   For the smooth forward movement and success of any project, or commitment to a more loving way of living, a letting go of old wounds, limited thinking and childish behaviour is necessary.   At this Full Moon there is a window of energy available to see clearly the full extent of both individual and collective psychological wounding. There are many variations and stories to this theme.  Each individual will have their own, and many are horror stories. The underlying theme will still be the same.  Separation from love!

The stories and experiences are from the past. We are in the process of creating our future.  We can do this consciously, or unconsciously.  When the dense psychological residue of the past is deliberately released, through conscious self-awareness and acceptance of the roles played, freedom results. The veils of false perceptions part and clarity reigns supreme.  Reform takes place and you can never be the same again. A lightness of spirit permeates your whole being as joy, fun, love and creativity seek expression. We humans need love to thrive and grow and we can consciously choose to generate it within ourselves.  The most powerful creative force in the Universe is Love, and Love does make the world go round.

Creating new systems and rebuilding outworn structures in your daily life are required to deal with the situations that arise under the current cosmic patterns. A freeing up is taking place even though it may not look like it.  Look beyond the angst and upset and see the opportunities that are being offered.  It’s time for individual and global change.  Through Jupiter’s influence in Aquarius for most of 2009 it’s a good time to begin a new course of interesting and exciting study that will benefit your future.  Many people will be attracted to study astrology.

New perspectives will be needed to handle recurring issues and blocks because they won’t go away without conscious attention.  They will only amplify if not acknowledged, loved and accepted as truth. This relates to both the individual and the collective.

This Leo Full Moon opposes a stellium of planets in Aquarius as: Mars (independent initiatory action), Jupiter (expansion through self-belief and truth), North Node (destiny in the making), Sun (vitality and creative expression), Chiron (psychological wounding) and Neptune (dissolving, through unveiling, ego structures). The Goddess Juno is also dancing with this group!   She wants a permanent “marriage” between all these Aquarian forces.  So, what does this huge package of concentrated Aquarian energy mean in our 3D reality?

The “crazies” might come out to play so there could be even more chaos and revolution in the world. Emergency and psyche wards, along with the police, will be very busy.  On the positive side a groundswell of humanitarian goals and ideals may make the headlines as people revolt against the abuse of power that is becoming more and more evident.  Who are the greedy power brokers that control our planet and how many more wars will they deliberately create in order to gather more money, control and power?  How long will the masses continue to play the role of unconscious zombies?  It’s wake up time to the reality that is. Look beyond the controlled media for truth.  

Add to this cosmic dance group Pluto (transformation and regeneration) and Mercury in Capricorn (limited and structured thinking).  Pluto’s journey through Capricorn until 2024 will create the necessary financial global destruction of outworn structures, especially financial ones, to enable positive collective transformation and spiritual evolution.   Transformation enables regeneration and renewal. As it is for the individual so it is for the collective.    And the Saturn in Virgo/Uranus in Pisces exact opposition calls for us to surrender our illusions of what could or should have been. The truth of our creations, when seen clearly, becomes very freeing.   We all need to get real, take responsibility for the consequences of our actions and stop hoping and wishing for something other than “what is.”

 A Full Moon illuminates psychological issues and themes. Emotions become full-blown.  It’s wise not to dump emotional toxins onto others, as they are likely to return to sting you! With the Leo/Aquarius polarity the issues that require self-awareness and conscious healing are those of rejection, alienation, false pride, vanity, arrogance, a need to be the centre of attention and self-aggrandizement. These are dense psychological games (usually unconscious) played by most people on the planet.   These childish games can arise in their full-blown glory now so that they can be brought to consciousness, acknowledged, accepted, owned and addressed. 

Through self-observation, open hearted and genuine self-love, vulnerability and humour differences can be easily healed.  Play and laughter are great therapy. Why not give yourself permission to have fun and to play at whatever creative expression makes your heart sing whilst at the same time accepting your daily life responsibilities lovingly and peacefully?

Leo rules self-actualisation through self-love. This is not ego-based love but an all encompassing, compassionate, understanding love based on total acceptance of ourselves: warts and all! We humans are electro-magnetic beings and when our magnet of love is strong it attracts like to us. As our internal love magnet intensifies an overflow of creative expression bursts forth from within our hearts. We then start focusing on what we can do for humanity rather than what we want for ourselves.  This is the energy that is birthing with this eclipse family.

A creative vision for global transformation is arising and each individual will have a contribution to make. Your unique puzzle piece will be based on the particular form of creative expression you love to do that energizes, enthuses and uplifts your spirit.  We need to be courageous enough to take the steps necessary to identify and bring forth into manifestation our unique creativity. This will enable the completion of the giant global jigsaw puzzle. 
 
Leo and Aquarius connect well together once separation issues are healed.  However, healing can be protracted, as both are fixed signs so can be stubborn and not want to let go of their particular position. This resistance to change can create internal conflict and even more separation from love.   Aquarius requires higher consciousness and radical permanent change based on the development of a heart centred humanitarian ideal. This cannot be accomplished without Leo’s creative talents and leadership abilities. When balanced, the Leo/Aquarius polarity works hand in hand to further the evolution of humanity.

The new US President Barack Obama is a Leo (12 degrees 33 mins in 6th) with Aquarius rising, so he has the potential to lead the world into greater unification through higher consciousness.  Transiting Neptune and Chiron conjuncts his Ascendant whilst T. Jupiter returned to its natal position (1 degree Aq. 12th) at the time of his inauguration.  

For those of you who have been working consciously on your holistic healing and awakening process this Leo Full Moon provides an intense energetic field with which to release the full force of your sincere, heartfelt ideal for your future. It will begin to manifest gloriously when aligned with very clear humanitarian intentions. Why not do a special ceremony or meditation to anchor your ideal and intent just before the fullness of the Moon as this is when the energy is the most powerful.   Then prepare to take the path of loving responsible leadership, through example.
