NEW MOON LEO 17 DEGREES 25 MIN. - 10TH AUGUST 2010 1.08 PM

Leo loves to play, create, have fun, be entertaining and the centre of attention.  This New Moon is a time when your Leo energy can be utilized to create a new beginning relating to these themes.   Leo also likes gold jewellery.   The colour yellow resonates with Leo and if you are attracted to gold jewellery and yellow products then you are likely to have a strong Leo component in your energetic blue print.

Mars and Venus are dancing together in the heavens now. These two cosmic energies favour partnerships and love affairs.   Mars is masculine and Venus is feminine.  These two planetary players have now come together in Libra to offer we humans the opportunity to consciously bring into balance our inner masculine and feminine components.

Our external world vividly displays the results of thousands of years of domination by the collective masculine and this has to change in order for peace and balance to be experienced upon our planet.   Each one of us can contribute to this process by passionately intending to create internal peace and harmony on all levels of our being; spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically.   Should your intention be holistically congruent and based on clarity and determination you will be given new ways to implement your intent in your daily life.

Saturn, now in Libra, will aid the process of peace, balance and harmony.  You may like to read my new article on this cosmic package because it will throw light on the reality of your life.  Click here……

Saturn, Venus and Mars in Libra are now opposing both Uranus and Jupiter in Aries. Therefore the Aries/Libra themes of Me v We will also be high lighted during this New Moon phase. ”How can I maintain my individuality and independence within the context of a relationship without feeing angry, frustrated and resentful” may be a question you ask yourself at this time. Or “How can I bring into balance my need for independence and my need to have a relationship”?  Keep on asking the question and you will receive the answer. Listen carefully. It may not be what you think!

Be aware of these themes during this New Moon phase, along with the prevalent Leo/Aquarius themes. They will play out for everyone in different ways depending on your personal blue print, your birth chart.  We each live our lives according to our personal astrology chart and mass consciousness thought forms. Astrology has been around for many, many thousands of years.   The cosmic players do have an influence on all living things.  Where would we be without the Sun (in astrology the Sun is ruled by Leo). The Moon influences our planet’s tides and also the emotional tides within each human being.  Is it not possible that the other planets also have an energetic influence on our lives?   Those in power in our western world decided, a long time ago, to relegate astrology to the scrap heap hoping it wouldn’t resurrect.   Why?  Because it gave individuals too much personal power!

However resurrection is occurring!  Look what is happening with astrology now, as we enter the Age of Aquarius.  Aquarius is the zodiacal sign that rules astrology.    How many magazines and books now contain astrological content? However, you do need to be very discriminating as to what you read because there is so much misinformation circling the globe.

Indigenous cultures still follow the stars. Ancient sacred sites were built under certain constellations of stars. Why?   Because the stars and planets act as guiding lights to our everyday lives. The ancients knew this. Ancient sacred wisdom teachings will not go away because they contain truth.

To aid your understanding of the cosmic energies of this current Moon cycle I’ll list some key words associated with the themes and issues of Leo/Aquarius.  We all have these zodiacal energies in our psychological matrix, to differing degrees. Those readers who have planets or points in their birth chart around 18 degrees Aquarius Leo/ Taurus/Scorpio, all fixed signs, will feel the subtle effects of this New Moon more so than others.

Leo: The Lion - a fire sign meaning the fire of your internal spirit.  In the functional:  leader, star, creative, courage of the lion, fiery, loving, generous, warm, open, spontaneous, enjoys children and can be engagingly child-like and/or regal.   In the dysfunctional: childish, cowardly, unconsciously seeks from others love, attention, approval and recognition. Proud, arrogant, superior, self-centred, dramatic, into self-aggrandizement, can feel unloved and carry the magnet of rejection.

Aquarius: The Water Bearer -an air sign associated with mental function and capacity. Functional:  self-aware, conscious, self-observant, needs freedom and space, is futuristic; inventive, innovative, into reform; is humanitarian, futuristic, objective, enjoys friends, groups and causes.  Dysfunctional:  scattered, ‘airhead’, disconnected from heart, body and spirit, unable to feel and express emotions, can experience rejection, separation, abandonment and be rebellious.

The parts of the body associated with Leo are the heart and blood whereas with Aquarius they are the nervous and circulatory systems and ankles.  Heart attacks and strokes occur when the essence of love and heart felt creativity is not permitted to flow harmoniously through the blood.   Burn-out occurs and the heart feels “attacked”.  This can be prevented with responsible self-awareness and fun creativity.

Under this New Moon in Leo phase it’s a good time to create something new.  Something that brings joy to your heart, is uplifting and energizing.   It may be very different from what you’ve ever created before.  Are you willing to take the risk and do it?  It may be the tool you need to bring greater love, joy, balance and harmony into your life.

May love and joy fill your heart and the light within guide you to truth

Blessings and love,
