Each month the New and Full Moons fall in opposing astrological signs. These signs rule our qualities, characteristics and sub-conscious motivations of which we are mostly unaware. When we connect to the monthly rhythms of our internal biological, emotional and intuitive codes we can greatly increase our ability to fulfil our spiritual potential.

The New Moon, when there is no moonlight visible, is a wonderful time for seeding new ideas. A seed needs time to gestate. New goals can be set at this time. However, it is important to make sure they are really what you want.

During the following fourteen-days the newly planted seed throws up related psychological issues and themes. Emotions can build in those two weeks and, if suppressed, create bags of swelling fluid in the body.

At the Full Moon illumination can be intuited as to the psychological themes experienced during the fourteen-day journey. Once aware the issues associated with the theme can be consciously released. The body then responds in kind. The fluid levels settle down. The following fourteen days provide the opportunity to release any suppressed emotions identified. And then the process begins again.

It is wise to meditate at the times of the New and Full Moon, as a window of cosmic energy is available for inner spiritual guidance. If a New or Full Moon falls on an angle or planet in your birth chart the themes associated with that planet or point will be highlighted.

FULL MOON JULY 26th 11.38 AM AQUARIUS 3 DEGREES

To aid your understanding of the cosmic energies of this Moon cycle I’ll list some key words associated with the themes and issues of Leo/Aquarius.  We all have these zodiacal energies in our psychological matrix, to differing degrees. Those readers who have planets or points in their birth chart around 3 degrees Aquarius Leo/ Taurus/Scorpio, all fixed signs, will feel the subtle effects of this Full Moon more so than others.

Leo: The Lion - a fire sign meaning the fire of your internal spirit.  In the functional:  leader, star, creative, courage of the lion, fiery, loving, generous, warm, open, spontaneous, enjoys children and can be engagingly child-like and/or regal.   In the dysfunctional: childish, cowardly, unconsciously seeks from others love, attention, approval and recognition. Proud, arrogant, superior, self-centred, dramatic, into self-aggrandizement, can feel unloved and carry the magnet of rejection.

Aquarius: The Water Bearer -an air sign associated with mental function and capacity. Functional:  self-aware, conscious, self-observant, needs freedom and space, is futuristic; inventive, innovative, into reform; is humanitarian, futuristic, objective, enjoys friends, groups and causes.  Dysfunctional:  scattered, ‘airhead’, disconnected from heart, body and spirit, unable to feel and express emotions, can experience separation, abandonment and be rebellious.

The parts of the body associated with Leo are the heart and blood whereas with Aquarius they are the nervous and circulatory systems and ankles.  Heart attacks and strokes occur when the essence of love and heart felt creativity is not permitted to flow harmoniously through the blood.   Burn-out occurs and the heart feels “attacked”.  This can be prevented with responsible self-awareness and fun creativity.

When unconsciously misusing the Aquarian energy you can experience problems with weak ankles, cramping and excess electrical currents coursing through your mind and body.  This over stimulating energy can create nervous disorders.  The remedy is to learn to become aware of, and learn to value, appreciate and manage, the subtleties of emotional and mental energy that course through you, rather than allowing your psychological conditioning to keep you bound in chains.

This Full Moon phase can bring innovative and inventive ideas into your mind that can highlight your creative pursuits.  You may feel stimulated to join a new group, choose a new course of enlightening study or bring innovative new ideas to already existing group dynamics.

Saturn harmoniously aligns with the Sun and Moon offering energetic portals to solidify relationships and/or creative projects.  Uranus and Jupiter are still dancing enthusiastically together offering the potential for initiating radical change in your life.  Can you feel it in the air? Are you willing to stretch yourself into that change?

Solutions to your life dilemmas are available however you may need to change your perception and perspective and learn to think outside your mental box.

Chiron and Neptune form the point of a cosmic configuration known as a Yod, Finger of Fate, or Hand of God.  This Yod connects to Mars/Saturn and the Sun and indicates that it is timely to see yourself and any psychological wounds you carry more clearly, from an objective and non-attached perspective.  When greater self-awareness dawns, as a result of lovingly objective self-analysis, you can reach an internal harmonious place of balance.   And then move on to plan new beginnings.

This Full Moon phase may bring something different and unusual, possibly related to your children or a child, that can help to resolve old wounds related to issues of rejection and separation.
Enjoy the experience,

Love and blessings,
