Uranus in Pisces Enjoying it’s Walts with Virgo

Ashtara

In January 2004 transiting Uranus entered the sign of Pisces and has been waltzing through the cosmos opposing our birth-chart planets in Virgo. So, how is this playing out in your life? Uranus requires change – and will bring it, often in sudden unexpected ways. Why? Because it is time for soul growth through shifts in consciousness and when this happens on an inner level, our external world reflects these changes. Sometimes it works the other way – for those who are rigidly set in old ways unexpected external change brings the needed internal shift! Life is about learning and moving up the evolutionary ladder so change is a constant.

When transiting Uranus energetically contacts an individual’s birth chart ‘sparks’ can fly, as it is the time for that individual to change perceptions and become illumined to a higher level of consciousness. Uranus is the force that illuminates a stagnant mind. Once illuminated –one perceives the world differently. The necessary shift has occurred and events begin to transpire in the external world reflecting the inner changes.

Uranus can part the veils of the Piscean illusionary mind acting as a brilliant light beam. Virgo, the opposite sign to Pisces works with detail, work, order, mental stimulation, wholeness, purity, cleanliness, good health and service.  Through utilizing our Virgo analytical abilities wisely we can break through the veils of ego illusion and see our foolish glamour games and protective weaknesses more clearly. Under this transit one’s type, style and manner of work can change–and most likely will! One’s health can also change – hopefully for the better, as it has with me.

Being aware of this transit and watching and observing my old style of work ‘wafting’ away, disappearing into the Piscean ethers with nothing to take its place I thought I’d better get this message quickly! I like to work. I love writing, learning, teaching and questing for truth and wisdom I cannot give all this up! However, Uranus was definitely showing me that the old way I approached my work and my old perceptions about work were not effective anymore.  So, I decided to play Virgo!! Remove my head from the Piscean clouds and be very practical! Detailed lists were required! I decided to identify my aspirations, needs, passions and loves, as well as become abundantly clear about what I never, ever choose to experience in my life again.

If we are unclear in our mind we continue to create that which is unclear in our life. Clarity leads to power and I like to feel empowered and also inspire and empower others so I’ll share the headings and some content of the lists I made. I suggest you make your own lists using the guidelines offered.

I hope this process is as beneficial to you as it has been for me. As I share it I ‘wrap it up’ and let it go and that allows space for the new to come to me. The same will apply to you.

In order for me to determine what inspires and energizes me I needed to firstly identify all that I never ever wanted to experience again in my life because re-playing these game weakened and drained me. Not good! So, the first heading I created was:

1. WHAT I AM NEVER EVER WILLING TO EXPERIENCE AGAIN:

Wow – did that open a can of worms! Following are a few of mine just to get you started and I’m sure you have masses of your own to add.

I am never, ever going to undervalue myself, or my work again!

I am never, ever going to put myself down because of someone else’s opinion/judgment of me.

I am never, ever going to believe that someone else’s beliefs are the truth and mine are wrong!

Doing this one exercise was so very empowering. And of course, once we commit to the process our external world immediately tests us on how much we really mean it! Usually three times!!

2. WHAT FEELS GOOD TO ME:

I felt this was a good thing to identify as, once identified, I am able to recreate more and more of it. I like to feel good. Don’t you? So, here are a few of mine to help you get started. Your ‘feel goods’ are likely to be totally different.

dataicon2 I feel good when I’m free of attachments.

dataicon2 I feel good when I experience versatility and movement.

dataicon2 I feels good embracing new ideas and trialling them for myself.

dataicon2 I feel good living in the mountains and the country.

dataicon2 I feel good travelling first class.

dataicon2 I feel good spending time alone.

dataicon2 I feel good writing.

dataicon2 I feel good initiating new projects.

3. MY WORK BACKGROUND.
This is great to do because there are always many aspects to this. Often they are simple yet it’s important to list them.

4. MY LIFE TRAINING:
This does not necessarily mean academic training although it’s important to add that aspect.  For example, women learn to be a mother, cook, cleaner, mediator, nurse, etc. This is life training. I’ve been aware for many years that I am being trained for something. This training occurs in my sleep/dream time and in meditation. I know I’m being trained to understand and write about the Science of Energy. What do you feel is your training?

5. MY ABILITIES:
We all have abilities – some come so naturally to us we don’t realize they are abilities. I am a natural storyteller, writer, teacher and entertainer and I have the ability to bring a group of diverse people together to create unity, openness and joy. What are yours?

6. WHO I AM:
I pondered over this one for quite a long time, changing it again and again until I felt I arrived at my truth. I am not my work or my status. Who am I deep within myself without all the external trappings?

7. MY DRIVING FORCE:
Identify what is the force that drives you through your life no matter what. If you cannot identify it now, leave it until you have completed the list and return to it. If you are still unable to identify it – create the most inspirational theme you can, as that will become your driving force.
I’ll share my driving force:

“To be the best I can be in order to fulfil the potential of my astrology chart and my purpose for being here”.

8. MY ASPIRATIONS:
I’ll share a couple of mine so you get the idea.

To maintain my state of joy, love, peace, harmony and balance and share this state of being with others.

To continue to be guided by my Higher Self in all I do.

9. MY NEEDS:
I have a Sagittarian Moon and in order to keep it happy I need to be free to travel widely, both physically and mentally. If you want greater clarity about your needs you will find them indicated by your natal Moon; its sign, house and aspects in your birth chart.

I need to work for myself and I’m learning to work smarter, not harder.

10. WHAT I ENJOY:
This is similar to the “Feel Good” category but has a slightly different twist to it. I feel good about most things in my life but what I really enjoy the most are:

Writing; learning; travelling; yoga; dancing; ‘connecting the dots’ of life experience and unravelling the mysteries of human evolution.

Each of us is such a diverse and totally unique human being and by spending time on identifying our individuality greater clarity results and this leads to self-empowerment. Transiting Uranus will be in the sign of Pisces until mid March 2011 – so there’s plenty of time for all of us to develop a higher perspective of consciousness. However, if you are currently experiencing life changes it may help you to understand yourself and your life better if you do the above exercise now.

Please feel free to pass this article on.
