Enpowering and Transformational Self-Healing
through a Chiron Transit

I recently had the opportunity to attend a social luncheon for twelve people. I could observe and feel how the majority of these people were deeply wounded, were unconscious of their wounds and attempted to cover up their loneliness, depression, sadness, hurts and insecurities by external superficial activities. My heart went out to them. I recognized my former self in them and remembered how it had been - a very empty, sad and unloving place to be in. I felt so deeply and profoundly grateful for being propelled to study astrology so I could learn to work my way through my many psychological patterns of density. I called my hostess that evening to thank her for her hospitality and she expressed how she too was suffering, from the immobilizing pain of fear of rejection. She was fully conscious of her pain yet unable to heal herself. She asked for my help and I shared one of the successful self-healing processes I practice. She was extremely grateful. In her concern for the pain of others, she asked if I would be willing to offer a workshop on practical self-healing tools. I said I would seriously consider her request.
This then geared my fertile mind into overdrive! I reflected on the many, many phone consultations I had had over the past years where I had been asked for practical healing help. I thought “If there are so many people in such visible pain, with some of them conscious of the basis for their pain, a remedy must be offered to assist those who are willing to help themselves”.
The next morning I awakened early wanting to consult my trusty Ephemeris–a navigational tool for planetary positions. “This book will have answers” I thought.
Since early 2006, transiting Chiron, the cosmic body that governs natural healing has been opposing transiting Saturn, the Lord of Time. What does this mean? The planets, thought their energetic emanations act as triggers to activate human evolution. As they pass through the different zodiacal signs they form angular relationships to each other and offer opportunities for spiritual growth. We can learn to become conscious participants in our evolutionary game of life and, through this awareness, generate self-healing. So, from my perspective these two planets moving through the opposing astrological signs of Aquarius and Leo have a major theme and are working together to offer humanity evolutionary opportunities.
It is time to become accountable for all limitations and fears deeply bedded in our unconscious minds that separate us from true love.
So for those who are internally stressed, lack joy, fulfilment and love the opportunity is being provided for permanent, long term healing. All it requires is a dedicated commitment to the process of self-healing through self-awareness and self-love and the willingness to take full responsibility for your feelings and thoughts. No one else is doing it to us!
The healing opportunities provided through the energetic effect of transiting Chiron in Aquarius will continue for some time because, when Chiron in Aquarius and Saturn in Leo finish their dance together in late 2007, Chiron will then conjunct Neptune in Aquarius. This new waltz will last for many years and be particularly strong in 2010. This conjunction will offer many opportunities to those of you willing to accept responsibility for your evolutionary enlightenment process. You will be able to see clearly how you created the pain of separation and why you perpetuate it unconsciously. This will be a major period of transition from a lower dimensional state of being to a higher one.
Each of us has the potential to experience galactic or cosmic consciousness however in order to access this higher state of being much inner healing work is needed. This is a singular journey. No other person can heal us. All personal density must be acknowledged, embraced, owned, accepted and loved before it can be transmuted into the light of conscious understanding. This is accountability and is the path to enlightenment.
Learning and applying spiritual astrology to daily life is one of the quickest and most effective methods of attaining this goal.
The December solstice 2012 depicts the end of the Mayan Calendar and represents the end of a consciousness cycle. There will be no great external event that occurs at that time. The planetary transits that lead up to this auspicious period offer many opportunities for the evolution of consciousness. They provide the urges to create a different world reality for ourselves, one based on higher conscious awareness of energy systems and the knowledge of how to manage them in order to experience perfect health and happiness. It is the journey and the intentions we set before that date that are so vitally important.
My journey to Tibet at the June solstice 2006 was incredibly beneficial. I have a conscious memory of experiencing a relevant previous life in that country as an astrologer. I had some unfinished business to attend to from that time and it was by visiting the areas in which I once lived I was able to heal and complete the past life associations. One of the most exciting experiences of the tour was when we visited the Tibetan Medical School in Lhasa, the capitol of Tibet. The lengthy Tibetan Medical Degree requires that all students learn astrology. We were fortunate to be given the undivided attention of a senior medical lecturer who showed us how the current Tibetan healing system had its birthing around 629AD. The first medical text book was written in 708AD and we saw a copy of it. He explained, and demonstrated how and why astrology is such an important part of their medical training. It is this ancient knowledge that resonates so well for me.
