DOGS, RATHER THAN DIAMONDS, ARE A GIRLS BEST FRIEND

Ashtara with TuiAs I am about to embark upon another exciting phase of my life’s journey I sent a prayer to my higher guidance before I went to sleep asking for absolute clarity about my new life direction.   The dream I was given took some decoding and it involved two of my former best friends – two dogs.   And then the lights came on!

When I embarked on my first long-term business venture a beautiful golden retriever female dog came into my life.  At a particularly important part of that business’s growth cycle this beloved dog, Lady, had seven puppies.   Then, not long before my family were about to move to a different state Lady developed galloping leukaemia and passed away.  There were many tears and much grief however she knew her support job was done.  She rendered her loving service with faithfulness and trust.

Lady was one of the visitors in my dream.

Then, when my business expanded to another, larger area Freja, a beautiful schnauzer came into my life and two years later her daughter was born just as the business was expanding enormously.   Freja came to me in my dream where both Lady and Freja were licking my face lovingly.  What was my dream teacher attempting to convey?
Two of my former best friends and support team were assisting me to make some connections between my work, life direction, expansion and their role.

When I let go of that very successful business, after 18 and a half years (a nodal cycle) and took up astrology as my main focus and passion, from which my teaching and writing work evolved, beloved Tui, a male Llasa Apso x Maltese came into my life.  He was three or four years old when I found him in the dog pound.  He is now seventeen and is hanging in there to see where his Mum is going with her new life direction and goals.  He, like me, is very curious about life and he is certainly not ready to go just yet.

In astrology the sign of Virgo and the 6th house relate to daily life, work, health and small animals.  Currently transiting Saturn is moving through the sign of Virgo so these themes are relevant.   Saturn, as the Time Keeper and Lord of Karma, requires commitment and dedication to one’s life direction and through this commitment he will open the “Pearly Gates” so that the path is clearly visible.  Hard work and discipline is necessary in whatever endeavour we undertake in order to attain success and, once the commitment to this process is made, the small animal can come in to support, love and care for us along the way.

Why not reflect on your life, career and work to see if the above theme applies to you?
