My love affair with the Andean Mountains of Peru and Bolivia began in the year 2000 and came about through an unexpected invitation. Up until that point in time I had never considered it as a holiday destination. My first trip was so totally awesome and amazing that I decided to return each year with a different group. They have all felt the same as I do. Some of the group members have even returned for a second experience. I feel totally at home in these high mountains, as if my soul belongs there. My energy levels rise to greater heights and I have more courage, confidence and daring than I have anywhere else in the world.
So, what is it about this area that engenders this expansiveness? Each trip I take uncovers more ancient knowledge and information about the evolutionary history of humanity and I realize that, unwittingly, I’ve become a spiritual archaeologist - a job I feel consumed by and am passionate about.
The Andean culture is very, very ancient. Its precise antiquity and history is still being uncovered. The Andean people often used sacred sites as spiritual initiation centres and so substantial resources were used in their construction. These centres were considered vital and necessary, as they connected people to their divinity. In the Sacred Valley, situated between Cusco and Machu Picchu in Peru, sacred geometry was used to build structures that demonstrated a direct connection to the celestial realms and to the people’s mythical and spiritual reality.
The Andean sacred sites were used as timepieces to track solstices and equinoxes, the movements of the planets, stars and constellations. The solstices and equinoxes are very necessary and practical time indicators as they are used to determine crop planting and harvesting times. On a spiritual level these special sites were used to open energy portals to higher planes of consciousness, and, as such, were regarded as sacred. These energetic gateways were closed at different periods of time when the ancient wisdom holders realized the dark ages were coming.
Throughout the astrological Ages of time the seemingly invisible majestic ‘city of light’, Machu Picchu, remained untouched by invaders until 1911 when an American explorer Hiram Bingham, discovered it.
This awesome and magnificent site, situated in high isolation between the Sacred Valley and the ancient Inca capitol of Cusco, was built long before the Inca civilization and therefore has a very ancient history. From my experience and memory it was specifically chosen as a place where the teachings of star lore, esoteric wisdom and spirituality could be handed down because of its particular geographical and vibratory location. There are cities upon cities, temples upon temples at this site.
The landscape and design indicate the builders had an advanced knowledge of sacred geometry and utilised the natural geography of the land to build this and other pyramids.
There is a group of people called the Q’ero, who live in isolation in the high mountains of Peru. They have maintained a culture and spiritual belief system down through the ages. They purposefully moved to higher mountain areas many hundreds of years ago so they could maintain their spiritual practices and remain untainted by the invasion of foreigners to their lands. They see the world as a living energy field, with everything connected, as did the ancient wise ones. They operate in multiple realities, inter-dimensionally. Their teachings were transmitted verbally, down the ages. In recent times they have opened their memory banks and have begun to share their ancient wisdom so that locals and foreigners can be taught their precious knowledge. A select few have been fortunate enough to learn from them and I am one of them. Once again Andean shamans conduct sacred rituals of ancient origin at sacred sites during solstices and equinoxes.
The Andean prophesies show the return of a New Age is at hand, indicating a new beginning, a stepping beyond 3D time. According to their understanding this new Age is characterized by the manifestation of the feminine aspect. Therefore, they believe all people on Earth will be influenced to progressively recognize, develop and bring into balance the feminine aspects of their psyche, through love and heart felt feelings. As this occurs, higher consciousness begins to emerge from the darkness of the past Ages. Ancient memory codes are often activated by visits to sacred sites.
Many things are happening on Earth now that are beyond the average human understanding. Our planet is undergoing massive energetic change, as is humanity upon her. A huge leap in human evolution is taking place. Archaeologists are continually re-writing history as more ancient sacred sites are discovered and uncovered. As an example it was only recently a ‘human’ skull was discovered in Africa, dated back to around 7 million years ago. These finds force us to re-think our evolution and history and awaken us to a new, broader and more conscious understanding of our reality. A huge spiritual awakening is taking place and the wave of higher consciousness is becoming stronger.
Those who hold the ancient codes of wisdom are again opening the gateways to other dimensions and the prophesy of the ancients is manifesting.
