 Ashtara QA FAA, a professional astrologer and prolific author began an in-depth application of astrology to her life in 1987 during a stressful mid-life crises. This manifested as severe depression and ill health. It was at a Queensland Health Spa that she was first introduced to astrology. Determined to heal her self naturally she set about verifying astrology’s validity, using herself as a ‘guinea pig’.
Being a natural sceptic she needed to prove whether the application of this subject to her life would bring positive results. It did and, in 1992 when she began formal study and sat in the classroom for the first time, she felt she had come home. Having been involved in successful business ventures for 21 years this was a total and quite radical life-change.
Her focus was on self-discovery, being willing to uncover and transform her subconscious motivations, attitudes and beliefs that led to self-destructive tendencies within her life. Her willingness to live life consciously and take responsibility for all her creations drove her on.
Ashtara delved deeply into esoteric, metaphysical and spiritual studies. In 1995, after many requests from associates, she began teaching regular weekly classes. She chose to combine her spiritual understanding with astrology. Her workbooks on Spiritual Astrology naturally evolved. The public demand for these books has been so great that in 2006 Ashtara revised and re-printed them. They offer a simple and effective step-by-step recipe for living an enpowering and conscious life.
Overseas travel and new horizons have always beckoned and in the year 2000 Ashtara began a love affair with the Andean culture of Peru and Bolivia. During her annual sacred site tours to these areas she uncovered much ancient wisdom and knowledge and is eager to share her findings. In her 2006 September Equinox tour she met two archaeologists who are willing to work with her on her exciting new books.
The theme that runs through all her work is consciousness. When individuals spiritually awaken to become conscious of their true self, miracles can and do happen.
