“Since 1995 she has written and self-published 10 books, the most recent being a trilogy entitled Your Recipe for Empowerment through Spiritual Astrology. In a cheerful corner of her dining area on an easel stands her first - and so far only –oil paining (pictured) the bright and beautiful burst of colour mimicking a full bloom and a bird in flight. The painting symbolises Ashtara’s belief we are all born with challenges and we can all change our fate by making changes.
“Painting was a challenge, as was changing the direction of my life, the place where I lived, my name and my lifestyle,” she says. “It takes courage to change and to stop being a victim of your ‘fate’. If we don’t make changes, we don’t accomplish our full potential”. |
